About Us

Duhovka Middle School offers Czech - English education based learning in context with an emphasis on social skills, individual attention, hands-on experience and a prepared environment. The entire Middle School is designed to build life skills, as well as preparation for transition to any high school.

What You’ll Do

• Create an engaging, supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and critical thinking.

• Collaborate on designing and implementing curriculum for English Language and Biology following Montessori principles.

• Support students aged 12 - 15 years in their learning, developing their English language skills as well as their learning, social, and communication competencies.

• Provide regular feedback on progress to students and parents.

• Collaborate with teachers across subjects to develop cross-curricular experiences.

• Participate actively in school life, including trips, workshops, and community events.

What We’re Looking For

• Native English speaker

• Proven experience in teaching English at the Elementary or High school level

• Background in Biology, Ecology, or Environmental Studies

• Bachelor’s degree

• Passion for alternative education and interest in Montessori philosophy

• Willingness for long-term cooperation
